Congress Passes FY26 LHHS Appropriations Bills
On Tuesday, Congress passed the Fiscal Year (FY) 26 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (LHHS) appropriations bill, increasing NIH funding to $47.2 billion. The bill prohibits changes to facilities and administrative cost reimbursement rates and prevents any increase in multiyear (forward) grant funding beyond FY25 levels.
